I have an abstract aesthetic that is fashion-forward based on the simplicity of Asian design. My work is often about the relationship of geometric shapes and organic form. Driven by my curiosity of how materials interact and relate with one another, I will often combine disparate pieces. My assemblages are at once contemporary and organic. I avoid harsh chemicals and focus on environmentally friendly processes. For me, the journey of the process is equally as important as the finished work.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, Germany, and the US. My pieces reflect my background and are a combination of the old and new. I have an abstract aesthetic that is based on Asian design. My work is often about the relationship of geometric shapes and organic forms. My jewelry is based on simple organic shapes and is hand crafted. My origami pieces are folded from traditional designs and displayed in non-traditional settings.
